New Year, new resolve

A new year begins with new resolve.  Not the long lists of self improvements but a simple resolve to move forward with the thing I love to do most, create.  This means that I will blog to keep myself on track and to give me a place to organize my scattered thoughts of incomplete projects, inspiration from so many sources, and gifts I wish to create for friends and family.  There may be times when accomplishment is slow but if it is on the list, there is that push to move ahead.  I will get off the sidelines of the quilting blog world and participate instead of read.  All baby steps as I remember back to early days of blog reading and digging for the courage to comment for the very first time.  The first goal is digging out all my projects and list or photograph them so I have visual reminders and then figure out some priorities that make sense.  To give back a little from the wealth of information, inspiration and support I have enjoyed as a reader, I hope my future readers will find the odd nugget that is worthy of tucking away for inspiration on their own creations.
Along with the blog to push me, there are some very good friends who want that extra push as well, so we are committing to meeting weekly for the friendship and fellowship that comes about with creating together.  Between us, we have so many resources and feel that we could use our time and tools better if we share both.
Won't you come along with me as I explore this new resolve?
